Barbell Lunge

This workout is aimed to make a load on leg muscles. The performance technique is as follows:

  • Put barbell on the shoulders

  • Make a step forward bending your leg at the knee until the thigh of this leg becomes parallel to the floor

  • Another knee should go down until it touches the floor

  • Keep your body straight

  • Do not lean forward

  • Perform planned number of repetitions for one leg and only then start performing barbell lunge for another leg

  • This exercise is the best for the development of “connection” between quadriceps and hamstring, as well as for the improvement of butt muscles
